Failure to Launch- Learning the Matchup!!! Eosmon Vs Dexdorugoramon [Project Drasil, DigimonTCG]

The matchup here is pretty simple but not always easy. You have to keep in mind that Doru can only save himself from trash effects if the digimon in play DOES NOT have Dex in its name. If it DOES has Dex in its name, you can delete it without any worry. If it DOESNT have Dex in its name, make sure the same level DexDoru isnt in trash where they can evo for free and delete one of your digimon instead.
The strategy for Eosmon in this matchup is this: Tamer management.
The new BT17 lvl 5 Eosmon gives your opponent the ability to play a tamer at no cost. if they dont, you may play one white tamer at no cost. Then, de-digivolve one of you opponents digimon -1 for every two tamers in play.
This card is how you win the matchup.
Managing the number of tamers in play in the early game is important. Early game, things can get really out of hand really fast. You dont want to de-digivolve your opponents digimon into a digimon that does not have Dex in its name unless you have enough tamers in play to de-digivolve them all the way down to lvl 3. Their lvl 3 can not be saved. You want to make sure there are the correct amount of tamers in play to de-digivolve Doru into a digimon that can not be saved by trash effects. If you cant, this is where BT7 lvl 6 Eosmon comes in handy. You can still go into your lvl 6 without being forced into attempting to delete a Doru that you dont want to delete as bt17 & BT6 Would have you do.
What makes the matchup really tricky is that the Doru deck can manipulate the number of tamers on the field as well. BT16 Dorugoramon can delete tamers. Tamers like Kosuke can slide in and out of play making it hard to get the right number of tamers in play. They can get rid of their own tamers in play as well as yours. The goal here is to get as many of your own tamers in play so you dont have to rely on you opponents tamers so when you go to de-digivolve you opponents digimon, you know theyre going to have to go all the way back to a lvl 3.
Hopes this all makes sense to all of the Eosmon Tamers out there! I'm still workshopping another version of this deck. If its something that i feel like may stick, ill return and let you guys know what changes I've made to the deck.
