This happened during the 2023 University Rover Challenge (URC) competition, the Equipment Servicing Mission.
While trying to lift a heavy box, at its mechanical limit, Wanderer's robotic arm suffered an internal collision (near the end of this video). This over-torqued a motor and sent shocks to disabled a USB-hub, which was connected to several cameras and other devices. The team members managed to tele-op the broken arm to close the drawer (see the thumbnail image) and secured it with a screw.
The rover then had significant trouble closing a door, which it even had trouble earlier before the arm was broken. The door needed to be latched so the strong wind would not blow it open, but the rover wasn't able to do that with limited control and a poor visibility (due to the loss of cameras on the arm).
