Until this rewatch along with FW I never realized how close Michael's introduction was to the season finale.

"Please give us the bioweapon to turn our brothers into humans and thus food. While at first you might find this distasteful, in the end we are sure you will see the wisdom." The writers are really letting their freak flag fly free with this one.

The same actress played all of the Wrath Queens. A really nice touch I feel.

It's not the same Wraith queen, but she's played by the same actress, Andee Frizzell. In fact most if not all queens in the series are played by that actress

Brent Stait played Michael Kenmore because Connor Trinneer was busy with Star Trek: Enterprise. Brent Stait played Rev Bem on Andromeda and Louis Ferretti in Season 1 of Stargate SG1
@po52839 ай бұрын
Wow, never caught that before, Thanks!!! Guess it's because Connor still voices the character in the episode and the makeup hides a lot. Kudos to the casting director and makeup team, did a hell of a job with that one.

@@po5283 If Failwhale34 does a Reaction to Star Trek he should start in chronological order which is Star Trek: Enterprise and continue from there. I would love to see his reactions to Star Trek especially TOS, TNG, DS9 and Voyager and the movies.
@garethdavies80049 ай бұрын
Not True. Star Trek Enterprise had already finished by the time this episode was filmed in late 2005 early 2006, Enterprise finished its broadcast run in May 2005 this was filmed after that and broadcast in March 2006. At the time of filming this Season 2 finale episode "Allies" Connor Trinneer and his wife were expecting a child and the production of this episode was at the same time as the due date, so Connor refused to go to Canada to film the episode so the production team had Brent Stait film the scenes made up as Micheal with a mask made from a mold of Connor's face and Connor filmed the opening message scene in Los Angeles and did a voiceover in a recording studio for the dialogue. Then Connor Trinneer returned to Canada to film Micheal's scenes in the Season 3 opening episodes "No Man's Land & Misbegotten".

Well, if Rodney destroys the universe it would take care of both the Wraith AND Ori threats at the same time.
@RipOffProductionsLLC9 ай бұрын
I mean, the Ori themselves might survive that, just reduced to normal strength of an ascended being with their worshipers gone, but that might be enough to let them kickstart new life and eventually get new worshipers...

Change of images quality come from the broadcasting, SGA upgraded to HD (1080i/720p) past season 3, along with SG1 season 10 and SGU. Maybe the new equipments were already in place during the season final ? SGA season 1 & 2 were in 540P, with an exception for premiers and finals (if i remember right).

Aaaagh! This is what I mean about the SGA team being stupid. Why oh why would you download files from your enemies on tech that holds sensitive information? It feels like the writers at the time really liked the trope because this happens in SG1, more than once, but that's exactly why it shouldn't happen in SGA. Anger aside, I love all the wraith episodes because they're so cunning and every interaction is a mind game 😂

15:49 Once again Ronan almost ruins something by overreacting, I like his character but in reality Dr Weir would have him confined to his quarters any time Atlantis is working on something with the wraith because this is the third time he has attacked a wraith that was working with Atlantis.

They were not completely firewalled .. that laptop should not be tied into the main city computer period .. they should have a minicomputer / mainframe to take care of this kind of event that does not have any sensitive files / data on it
