How are 'foreign' investors able to 'buy' the land in the first place? Doesn't the CNMI have laws against foreign land ownership?

land might fall under a different laws than the properties that are built on them

I don't know if you are still on the Island or not, but I think you are really trying hard, and I think you should keep doing what you do. I was recently kicked out of an Apartment in Garapan because they wanted to Rent My Apartment to a Chinese instead of me. That's the only reason, it wasn't because I did anything Wrong I spent my own money fixing up their Apartment, but they wanted to Rent to Chinese instead of me. I was SO Pissed! But I wound up Renting in CK from one of the Richest Local guys in Saipan, and I am very happy where I am now, so it worked out for the best for me, but I was shocked at how I was treated. Your Reporting is Accurate, and I don't think you should give up so soon. Keep with it.

I contacted Department Of Justice in Washinton D.C.about Guam and they suggested to write to Fair Housing. Tamuning was a Filipino preference for Landlords with a certain property owner family.

That is bullshit and should not be tolerated. First and foremost this is us territory . The government should inform these investors before issuing any license to operate any business that this is a democratic country and not a totalitarian one. Our island has always welcome any person regardless of race. We are all the same . We must follow the same laws. Descrimination is a very ugly thing. And it's got no business here in paradise. That's why we should not abolish article 12.

Saipan islanders only want Chinese people there because of ww2. Asians hold the biggest grudges, that's a fact. That is why Japan is now our ally again, ( pre war- ww1) and again ( ww2= japan defeated by America after attack on Pearl Harbor)

I think this story is overblown imo. Just a guess but these apartments are likely filled with mostly male Chinese workers. The CNMI gov’t should convert those garment factories into barracks for these immigrant skilled laborers to prevent this sort of preferred housing for them in a limited sparsely available housing market for civilians.
