I have studied SMC trading style and yes he's right. The half of FVG is a gold on zone something like Fibonacci becouse there's where price is tested where banks try to outcast competition. So yes, it's useful to have FVG. But remember do your own research and find the style that fits you

Awesome indicator indeed. But isn't it simply guessing that price will turn at a FVG, why would it? Often enough it marches right through and stops you out. At least that's my experience with this "strategy".

Because like all reversal strategies, it depends on the strength of the news catalyst if there are overwhelming buyers or sellers then sometimes the price moves straight up or straight down, this is from perspective of day trading, sometimes there can be no reversals for the entire day. And sometimes the gap doesn't fill completely before price reverses. I only use it in conjunction with other indicators but the issue comes when the indicators are showing different signals, so it all depends on the probability of setup, there is no guaranteed concept or indicator.

It is - don't trade a reversal if the candle close past the half way point like he has here. It won't work - that would be a continuation signal.

Nah it sounds like you have it backwards. If it gaps up and then comes back down later on into that fair value gap you would go long expecting it to bounce from that area because that is where buying was strong before and since it came back into that “zone” it has now reached somewhat of a homeostasis, so then it theoretically should fill a bunch of long orders causing the price to go back up again. Make sense?

@@rajasen1319 these indicators allow you to see price action. Look at MES at 9:54 PST on the 1 minute chart. It created a change of character, immediately creating a fair value gap. Price action came to touch that area and bounced right off of it. This is price action at its finest
