Andrew Remillard, how I enjoy listening to your solo piano player all the hymns I loved, learned and enjoyed as a child growing up in my Baptist Church in Portsmouth Va., We had an Organist who played a hymn on our 15 rank Wicks Pipe Organ, which is still in the church. Thank you, thank you for what you are doing. Like your father, I'm a retired Baptist Pastor, and I sometimes practice playing hymns on large Organs within local churches near my home. Oh, Andrew how I wish you could play hymns on a Pipe Organ. Your father is correct hymns are becoming extinct in our local protestant churches. Now its drums, saxophone, keyboards, B-3 jazz organs, trumpets, and 7-11 music with repeated chords sung over and over again (jump music). God help us!

Andrew Thank you for the classic gospel songs with the words. The Lord has shown me I need personal worship time. I am not singer but it makes my joyful noise better. This is perfect! Pastor Frank

I looked and looked for a rendition of this Holy Spirit inspired hymn. This is the most beautiful and worshipful version I’ve found. It is and will continue to be for me a portal into worshipful adoration of the Blessed Savior. Thank You!

Hello Mr. Remillard! I am revisiting this hymn to sing, but instead of going with the acappela version I first used to learn it, I opted for your fine playing. Thanks for sharing it. Wishing you a great afternoon in the Lord on this Monday, March 18, 2024.

What a lovely hymn, I woke up in the night and praising God for the hymns you share. New Pastor at our church. Hymns done by the band now plus praise music. At least the hymns aren't gone.

Almost might have to run this hymn past Dr. Ludwig's channel to see if he might have the original hymn that this melody was written to (obviously it WOULD be a German hymn written during the Crusades). Should be an interesting find on his behalf.
