FAIRHAVEN POLICE BID HAPPY RETIREMENT TO OFFICER LAURIE CANNON.
LT David Sobral made the announcement on the police radio, February 21, 2024 at 9:35 AM:
"818 (Station ID) to all cars and stations, I would like to inform you all that this is Officer Laurie Cannon's last day of service as a full-time officer of the Fairhaven Police Department. On behalf of the Fairhaven Police Department, I would like to thank Officer Laurie Cannon for her dedication in 23-years of service for the Town of Fairhaven., as a Patrolman, Dispatcher, Safety Officer, Child Seat Technician and Motorcycle Officer. Congratulations on your retirement, enjoy yourself, and stay healthy Laurie. Thank You for your service, you will be missed. This will be the final sign-off for Officer Laurie Cannon for the Fairhaven Police Department." *ML's Note: Laurie also celebrated her birthday today as well!
