Fairlane RestoMod: Episode 2 - Teardown Part 1

This is not the most exciting content, so I have accelerated it quite a bit. This is mostly for me to have a very detailed reference for the re-assembly.

I lost some footage for some of this, but most of it is there.
The most risky part of this would be the drip rail chrome removal (00:03:28:09) - I have used this method on my Ramchager and it it worked out pretty well here. There are a lot of folks on the forums that have had a tough time with this, so I hope my method can help.
The next bit of the tear down will be around the wiring & mechanical bits. As soon as every thing is off, it will be off to the tip over jig!

That is the part that keeps me up at night! It was a bear getting them out, so getting them back in without damaging the new felt & paint when it happens will be a life goal for sure!

are you bagging the bolts and labeling, like how are you keeping up with what goes where?

indeed.. lots of ziplocks! just sharpie label on them.. the filming is also a big help. All of these episodes are at 1500x or so, but I have all the realtime source. I am sure I will learn all the mistakes soon enough as the "build phase" begins.
