Tears are flowing, I am not sure why. Since my childhood these song moved me to tears, Fairuze's, Andalusiat themed songs; even though I could not understand Classical Arabic very well. Yet, I would pretend I was in the presence of the Sultan, singing and dancing for him. I would grab my mother's long silk scarf and dance with it the Muwashat dance. I still do today as an adult, listening to Fariruz Angelic voice. When Fairuz came to Las Vegas, Nevada, I ran to her concert, and sat at the very front. Fairuz, we may never meet, but you touch the hearts of billions around the world. You are always in my heart and your music brightens my soul, even when I have a cleansing cry, lol. God bless you Fairuz, God gifted you with a golden Angelic voice.

My father’s family was from Lebanon and I can totally relate. I have done the same and still do, but I do not know much Arabic at all. Blessings to you, possibly distant relative from Texas! 🔥♥️🔥
