Is it glamor in her voice that draws us near? Is it the vibrant colors and dark shadows brought to life by the spoken word that keeps us coming back again and again? Or is it even that our own Scary Fairy Godmother has a bit of Fae magic hidden away? Beware the Fae, and beware the senses and the glamor that fools them. Thanks once again Scary Fairy Godmother! Hope you are well, and we all can’t wait for next time!

9:53 About Kelpies, that flower, weed flower that keeps growing in the pavement crack. It's what we in Denmark and old Skandinavian call a Witches Flower. It's got a few meanings but, mostly it means some earth creatures are active. If you place a gifting stone near the flower, and give gifts. You'll receive too. Incl your house spirits will not hide your things but stuff will random apeer.

I just recommend your channel to someone complaining that another channel legitimately scared them and their kids with their sound effects and grizzly content. I told them that despite your name, you were kid friendly, had curious and captivating stories and beautiful art. I do hope they visit you! 💙 You’re definitely one of _my_ favorites! 😍

From his cradle in the glamourie They have stolen my wee brother, Housed a changeling in his swaddlings For to fret mine own poor mother. Pules it in the candle-light Wi' a cheek so lean and white, Chinkling up its eyne so wee Wailing shrill at her an' me. It we'll neither rock nor tend Till the Silent Silent send, Lapping in their waesome arms Him they stole with spells and charms, Till they take this changeling creature Back to its own fairy nature Cry ! Cry! as long as may be, Ye shall ne'er be woman's baby ! - Walter de la Mare.

My favorite changeling story is the one where the mother cracked eggs over a pot but tossed the yolks and only boiled the shells. The changeling laughed and called her a fool but his laughter broke the spell and sent him back to the underworld, returning the original baby in the process. 4d chess right there 😆

The first story reminds me of a video I saw of this Russian hunter named Sergei I believe who encountered something ungodly in some isolated expanse of forest. The audio is pretty unsettling as whatever is making it seems to be producing a loud beeping noise that sounds all too mechanical, in addition to some highly disturbing human-like groans and screams. Definitely one of the most wtf things I've come across. Btw if that man who relayed experience #1 would want to get in touch with me I could send him the link - the title is UNKNOWN CREATURE CHASES A HUNTER DURING A NIGHT IN RUSSIA for anyone interested. You can find it on youtube. I'd be curious to get his take on it.
@RuinedTemple8 ай бұрын
Is that the video of the guy who climbed way up into a tall evergreen tree in the middle of the night with his rifle during a solo hunting/camping trip in a Russian forest because he heard something (which TOTALLY fit the bill of Fae behavior!) coming closer & closer towards him, eventually hearing what sounded like an old woman crying & possibly laughing right at the base of the tree he was in? Throughout the night he had also heard many other voices; men, women, even children, some kind of music or musical instrument, etc.? If so, that was a pretty creepy video, even if it was staged (I have no idea if it was or not).
@gabrielg.24018 ай бұрын
@@RuinedTemple Yep that's the one. Looks genuine to me - this was in Southern Siberia in the Sayan mountains so yeah very remote. A guy did a video on it recently where he explains the backstory of the film and translates what the man is saying; his channel is Bargo Enigmas

I'm so grateful that I came across your channel a few years ago, & genuinely appreciate all the effort you put into your craft. For as long as I can remember I've always been drawn towards the supernatural, otherworldly, esoteric, occult, etc; & I've always known & sensed the existence the unseen. I've found that I'm particularly drawn to the lore, stories, & eyewitness accounts of the Fae & Native American Indians/First Nations/Indigenous Peoples. They're beyond fascinating on their own, but it's exhilarating to discover the incredible amount of parallels & similarities when comparing the two. The Fae, much like the Native's folklore & mythology, are energy beings ~ of the spiritual plane, & the frequencies responsible for governing it are significantly higher than the physical plane's (realm, dimension, etc) frequencies. In order to either see or slip into the Spiritual (Ethereal) realm, us humans born into the Physical (Material) realm must raise our own level of frequency (vibration) to match/meet the threshold frequency of the Ethereal realm ~ shifting from 3D to 5D. We are far more capable of perceiving & understanding beyond the 5 senses than we've been led to think & believe for decades. These beings acknowledged, accepted, & completely surrendered to the Universal Law of the Land that directs all of the energies that effects the dimensions of Earth. They learned to work with the currents of energies & frequencies, while we're dealing with the fallout of trying to repair & maintain a dam that's blocking the flow from us. Perspective is everything

Regarding the first story: I have never heard this sound personally, but AFAIK _pumas_ -- i.e. _mountain lions_ or _cougars_ -- can make a call that sounds very much like a human female screaming. That does NOT fully explain what was heard during the encounter, but it is a real thing.
@sarahvmorgan8 ай бұрын
Mountain lions also communicate with each other by making a chirping noise, like a bird. They do it so they don't scare off what they're stalking, while still working with other lions.

I think I had a similar experience to the first story. It actually happened this past February when my friend and I were in some woods in Manchester, Georgia. We were essentially camping, and in the middle of night, we heard the strangest bird noise. Immediately after the noise stopped, there were gunshots. Later on, my friend found a sound clip of an alleged bigfoot. It sounded exactly the same as what we heard. No beeping tho

Perfect timing! I love listening to your videos while I paint, and I'm working on some entries for Mermay today! 💖 Have you ever considered making a video on the Japanese Yokai? The many stories I've heard remind me a lot of stories about the Fay: Some are good, some bad, supernatural beings, it's usually best to leave them be, they can follow you around in some cases, you must be respectful when speaking of them, and they can sometimes cause paranormal phenomena similar to poltergeist activity. I know that depending on the country, the Fay can take different forms, I'm wondering if the Yokai are actually a type of fairies known in Japan. (The Kitsune, which you've covered on this channel, is a well known example!)

@RuinedTemple8 ай бұрын
But he said that it sounded like a woman screaming repeatedly with a beep or chirp sound at the end of each scream, the voice came from 8-10 ft up in the air & that may have been because it seemed to be flying or floating, it sniffed his tent, & the only similarly described noise that he's come across was suspected to be a wild ape man. Why is Cernunnos the 1st thing that comes to your mind when considering these traits/behaviors?

First, I love listening to the stories on this channel, so let me make it clear: I’m not a hater! That being said… second story takes place in CO, but in a redwood forest??? The redwoods are all in California. Colorado is home primarily to spruce, pine, and aspen. Unless the writer meant the forests in the red rocks?… EDIT: I will add that I have felt something unfriendly in the mountains of CO, however.
@ScaryFairyGodmother8 ай бұрын
I was confused about this, too, when I initially read it. I looked it up and found out there's a spot with petrified redwood trees in Colorado, so I assumed this is what the writer meant. Although it's possible she was only indicating that she's from Colorado and that the incident happened elsewhere. This was an entry in the Fairy Census and people fill in where the incident happened on a form so it's possible the writer got confused and entered where she was from instead of the location of the incident.
