Happy Mother’s Day everyone! That turned out really cute. I love the entire scene, she’s an adorable figurine. I put a deep mold inside another container and then poured it, then put ice in the container around the mold and then refrigerated it. I didn’t have any deep pour resin. Of course you need to make sure you don’t get any water in your resin and maybe use a mini fridge that you don’t use for food. But, it works really well to stop it from flash curing. I waited 24 hrs., took it out of the fridge and let it finish curing. It will add a day or so to the curing time. But, I didn’t have any bubbles. There’s a channel called BM Sculptures. He sculpts huge blocks of resin. I’ve watched him pour as much as 8 gals. of deep pour resin at one time! At more than double the recommended depth. He uses a vacuum chamber and puts it in a refrigerated chest. One time he forgot to take into account that his resin was stored in a garage in 100F heat when he mixed it. So, that one was a disaster. But, it works for him too. Thanks for another fun video😊

@@resinnut9335 I love watching him carve with a chainsaw. It just amazes me that such a fierce tool can create something so beautiful. I had purchased the cupped hands mold and only had reg. resin.. I really wanted to pour it!😆 So, I decided to wing it and put it in the fridge. When I later saw him do the same thing with gallons of resin I stunned that it worked on that scale. Quite a few woodturners refrigerate their deep pours now too. Hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother's Day! This turned out really cute. I have loved fairies since I was a teenage so this was right up my alley. I have been debating getting a pressure pot recently too. My issue with vacuum chambers is that once you pour, you can still get bubbles again if you aren't careful. So for me, a pressure pot seems like a better idea since it will just make any bubble left in the resin so small you cant see it. I guess in an ideal world every resin artist would have both to use!

From the front it looks like the fish is blowing the stream of bubbles. It's a shame about the bubble on the edge but hopefully that ca be fixed with UV resin. All in all that was a fun project and the fairy looks cheeky blowing bubbles but still amazing. 🧚🧚‍♀🧚🧚‍♀

They have misting bottles that do a very fine mist you might find helpful. A few bubbles in this cube is fine. The fish made them. How kind did this take to cure?

Im getting a pressure pot this week. From what I've researched, the pressure pot is better for certain things with resin so im actually getting one this week. I'm getting the California Air Tools 5 gal one. I found one at a great price so im biting the bullet. Now i need to figure out which compressor!

She's super cute😊I really like the smaller bubbles😊I have so many questions before I start this resin art ,is there a video that can explain if you have to buy different resins for different pours? What is flash curing? What is the cast and cure achieve like does it give some sort of effects? I watch Julie too and I seen her put the white cast and cure in a little plastic bag and spiraled it in her 3 d bloom coaster. Does it work for the bubbly waves in ocean pours? See what I mean so many questions lol 😆 oh one more have you tried any of temu's alcohol or pigments? My heads spinning with all of this lol😅 I look forward to all of your videos and can't wait to get started myself if I can figure it all out🥴😆thanks for any advice you can offer
