The fairy glen is enchanting on a summer's day, as is kilbroney park and rostrevor village. The Star of the Sea church cemetery holds the grave of Ireland's tallest ever man. I forget his name, but his gravestone is the same height as he was when stood, and its impressive to see. The whole village is breath takingly beautiful, with wonderful warm people, and views which will.melt your heart. I'm so proud to call this village home. I dont live there, sadly, as my grandfather, Mick Fearon, emigrated to england, where I now live, but home is always home, and rostrevor is home.

Try the other gate, it leads to killbroney park!! And visit their cafe cuz the have good chips lol. When I say chips I'm not talking about things like Doritos (because I'm from rostrevor and I'm not American lol)

The whole menu at the park cafe is grand i think, not to mention the beautiful views over the point, the lough and the mountains. Rostrevor is our family home too. The Fearons, Sloans and Beggs.
