As a consummate hatcher of redtails, winter mammoth and even cinder horn fairy shrimp, I have never seen the approach of putting the eggs in a sack during initial hydration before. I assume this is to saturate them so that they will sink rather than stick to the sides of the container?

yes thats correct to make all the eggs sink to the " bottom "

The bag is to soak the eggs. Otherwise they float and stay dry. Or see optional directions at Arizona Fairy Shrimp.

Can add water ever 30 to 60 minutes... Gently, without making waves. Like pour the water on to you curled fingers. Do this like five times. Most will get wet and sink.

got these and they were really easy to hatch , after hatching i left them for a few day to fatten up and fed them to my super greedy tetras , they loved it :D will be back for more in future !

My eggs won't sink, they just float and stick to the sides and they won't hatch. How do you make them sink?

our eggs will sink very easily , once you put in the water they will sink . however if they dont please use a spoon to stir them .
