god i love this song and I kinda wish acnologia did raise that girl after he rescued her . to me would of been a good plot for him turning from good to evil. god wish they come out with a whole story about acnologias origin and his rise to power . I find him interesting

He wasn’t evil but he wasn’t good. Acnologia will always be a mystery to me. We see a glimpse of his past apologizing to a child for not making it in time wich shows that he was good at one point but then in the future he began hating humans which is yet to be discover but I don’t think will know much about him anymore. An amazing character. It’s interestingly he wants to destroy the both things he is. Dragon and human.

To be fair though his main targets were dragons and not humans, even in alvarez starting fights he tried killing only the dragon slayers.. Maybe bcoz he thought, they will eventually turned into dragons

Dragons or Dragon Slayers. to him their the same. Dragon Slayers in the Past turned against the very dragons they were fighting with so they weren't any better than the dragons they were fighting. My Ideal for him is that he has no care for humans, his only targets are Dragons and Dragon Slayers. Think of Gildarts, Gildarts didn't survive the encounter because he was strong, but because he was lucky. Gildarts wasn't a Dragon Slayer so Acnologia didn't have a reason to kill him. Also when Irene first encountered Acnologia, the first thing he says is "I have no use for you, begone". Later humans became his target because they kept on getting in his way. I have a feeling that if Acnoloiga was able to kill all the Dragon Slayers in the final war, he would of pulled a Thanos and disappeared. I'd read that, maybe have Sonya encounter Acnologia after 400 years

It was so sad and stupid thing to watch how he was defeated in the FT final. Since when he has sea sickness as other dragon slayers? He didn't use time skip/portal as others, that was pointed as a reason of it. Also FT gave him like 3-4 dialogues where he acted just like cartoony evil character, so we got his motivation very late and it clearly wasn't shown good enough. With that said, it's a shame that such an amazing manga has such a poor written ending. Big L to author.

No, she's just a girl who lived 400 years ago at the same time as Acnologia. Sonya accidentally got lost in a cave of Dragons (including Animus and Zirconis), who then attacked and left her near-to-death. Acnologia then killed those Dragons, apologised to Sonya for not being able to come help her sooner and left. Animus barely survived, by using that same Magic that Igneel used to seal his own soul inside of Natsu. Anna doesn't having anything to do with this.
