I mean I'd just be happy with a tweet from them saying that there working on DLC for Fairy Tail than the complete silence we've been having since season 1 pass dropped. But I totally agree with you on the Alvarez arc needing to be included that arc is straight fire. Also how have they still not made the awakening forms work on other costumes yet it's absolute madness!! 😂

Same! Complete silence just feels odd, especially after hinting more will be released. A viewer actually forwarded me a mail a couple of weeks ago in which Koei Tecmo replied that there aren't any plans on fixing the awakening forms T_T

Swrinny I mean that's slightly depressing lol. So they can confirm that but not let us know on any plans for more DLC, I literally haven't touched the game since the last part of content from the first season pass because I've done absolutely everything there is to do in the game. 😩

I've been waiting for them to release this outfit for so long, and they mess it up by not even putting them in one pack meaning its 3.49 for each outfit so almost 20 bucks. WHYYYYYYYYY

Considering that they're all-but playable already, I'm guessing that we'll get Minerva, Ultear, and Flare in the next DLC pack if we get another one. As for a fourth character, I'd like to see Millianna or Jura (since they're pretty important in the GMG arc but didn't even get models in this game), but I'm guessing Yukino will be playable since she's one of the only characters (aside from Zeref and Acnologia, who could be bonus bosses in a second season pass) who has a model but doesn't have a combat role. As for the inevitably overpriced costumes, maybe seasonal outfits like Christmas or Halloween? Mashima usually posts an image for those holidays on Twitter, and I believe some of the mobile games have different outfits for other characters, so I think there'd be enough material. Maybe a classic outfit pack to round it out, giving us an outfit for each character from an older arc.

Yeah I think you're spot on about the DLC characters, if they'd release more. It should be relatively easy for them to make characters that already have a model into a playable character. Especially if the skills are already in the game too (guest characters). I like the seasonal idea, but in order for costumes to sell there needs to be content to play your favorite characters as and this game reaaally lacks the replayability factor. Even a simple new game+ option that offers a slightly different experience would help with this.

I felt this game was forgotten in october 2020 and was upset that we most likely were not getting skins anymore. I did find a solution that I would like to tell you if your interested

It really feels like that yeah. I just want an update on what their plans are and I honestly think we deserve at least that. Maybe after Atelier Ryza 2 releases they have more time for this... I assume your solution is about modding on the pc version?

always wondered how much this game sold, over 300k copies isn't bad, hope is more that enough to make the Alvarez arc a reality... from the latest DLC just got the Lucy outfit the others i didn't mind honestly, there should be a Team B

That's actually a good idea! An already written story that's not too long shouldn't be that difficult to add. Fairy Tail Zero would be cool too I think, but that story didn't contain that much fighting

Brandish is great too, but I can't remember her having a serious fight other than the 'fake' one against Lucy. But yeah you're right there is a lot of content, if we'd take a look at the Grand Magic Games and see what's been cut out of that, the Alvarez DLC could run into the same issues...

truth be told i still expect something more creative i mean my expectations are not sky high don't get me wrong but still i think they can do a think or two for example they can put a new location or two or a new story something like that and not in a new battle pass cause i think that the already existed battle pass is somewhat incomplete and not recap the same content but in a different way and sell it as something new.I mean overall they did a good job with this game but i believe they can do better

Agreed! From what we've seen it's clear that we shouldn't have high expectation and also realize that more DLC is probably going to cost more than it's worth - but even something new like a zone or original story would be nice.

Sadly they didn't :c And with the lack of updates/news surrounding the game I fear they never will. Maybe the modding community managed to fix it for the pc version though

I think that they will make yukino and Minerva as playable character.... and I really hope they make kana playable as well. And of course characters like Jura, sherry, hibik, tunder legion, jenny, miliana are always welcome to became dlc 😂😂😂😅

Doesn't look like it, for now at least. Earlier this month I reached out to Koei Tecmo again but they couldn't disclose any more info. If there's news I'll be sure to cover it though

@@Swrinny Yeah I got the same comment from them. Koei did announce they have a lot of games planned for 2021. At this point i'm expecting a sequel before we get DLC. Especially with the feedback they've been asking for.

@@DarkShuyin Yeah and at this point I wouldn't even mind that tbh. With everything maxed out I'm not sure if DLC will be that enjoyable anymore anyways and a sequel will also give the opportunity to add more characters and maybe some extra older arcs into the game! I just wonder that if they are going to make a sequel, how they're going to handle the guild ranking system but I'm sure it'll be fine

@@Swrinny they'll probably do the classic video game trope that "certain event" caused them to lose their original strenght etc or have an all original story factor that caused all guilds to start from the bottom again. I hope they do though. The guild system and guild upgrades were by far the coolest elements in the game imo
