Lucy has the single most difficult part to play in the show. She's the Voice of Reason. Edit: The "fuck Natsu" is a reference to the argument way back when to name the team when it first formed.

Literally, almost every single member of Fairytail would be dead if Lucy wasn't there, Tartarus ring any bells? Also by the final season she badass as hell man. Plus it was HER plan that stopped Achnologia's body and SHE re-wrote the E.N.D book and basically revived Natsu, and in the infinity clock arc the real nightmare spell would have been cast if it weren't for her, on Tenrou she told Cana where the grave was so Cana found Fairy Glitter and that spell became very useful in many different cases, AND if she had never joined Fairytail Gajeel and Juvia would never have joined either because they were hired to kidnap her and they wouldn't have attacked if they weren't hired. So anyone who says the show would be just as good without her clearly never paid attention when watching it. I rest my case.🤗😁

Love your reaction Lucy is strong from the start because every one else in the guild have been studying and practicing their magic since they were very young but it is not like that for lucy since lucys mom was a celestial wizard her father did not like her becoming a mage when her mom died And It takes a lot of magic to summon a celestial spirit And it also takes even more magic to keep the spirit in the human world Just sitting down and looking at a spirit fighting in it self very magic consuming But lucy Also fight beside her spirits Soooooo I am 100% SUREthat lucy is one of the strongest members of the guild

Aight sorry for the rant One of the reasons people don't like lucy id cause shes "weak" and sure maybe at first she was weak but she continued to get stronger she didn't stay weak. I believe that after her mother died her father probably didn't allow her to practice magic as its not ladylike and the reason layla had died. So we can assume she wasn't allowed to practice magic so of course shes not gonna be as strong as the others especially when compared to Natsu who was raised by a dragon then was introduced into the guild and got more help with his magic. Gray who was found by Ur got introduced to his ice magic and after got into the guild and had help. And even wendy had more help when she was younger being raised by grandeeny and the having an entire made for her and being helped even after going to fairy tail. So yes in the beginning lucy was weak but she got stronger she didnt stay weak and complain about it she did something about and as a result saved the guild multiple times. Again sorry for the rant.
