True story, Cherami Leigh thought her voicing Lucy was a big prank on her cause she was originally supposed to voice Erza or Happy. They gave her Lucy and she really wanted that role but she thought they were joking. They had her do some Lucy lines and she still thought she wasnt going to be Lucy. She didn't know she was ACTUALLY Lucy until this panel lmfao bu true story.

Yeah, that's Cherami Leigh who voices Lucy and Luffy. She also voices Patty from Soul Eater. I just love watching a new anime and recognizing an actor or actresses voice from a previous anime I've watched before. When I got into Fairy Tail, I hadn't realized that all these actors/actresses voice different voices in so many different anime, so I was surprised when I looked up the voice for Elfman and found out that Christopher Sabat also voiced Ayame from Fruits Basket and Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho aaaaand Vegeta and Piccolo from DBZ. I get excited for no reason, haha.
