I love the retellings by Rosamund Hodge (the first one is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, called Cruel Beauty) There are Greek elements as twists and they are sooo good.

I don't know if Alice In Wonderland falls into fairy tale, but my favorite retelling is the Splintered series by AG Howard. She also has a princess and the pea retelling called Stain which I love. She's definitely a auto buy author for me
