I feel as though thin arched brows aren’t good on face ups they look cartoony on the slightly realistic face shape , layering the pastel into a thicker shape then penciling the finer hairs in would look nicer.

Have you thought about getting a spray paint gun and machine ? Iwata is good.

Thank you for the feedback! I’d done thicker brows on some previous faceups so I wanted to try a different style for this one. Next time I update this head I’ll probably try a different brow style! As for an airbrush, I didn’t want to invest quite so much into my equipment while I was just starting out since they can be rather expensive. If I continue doing faceups regularly I’ll probably get one for myself to speed up the process.

Do you add water to the pastels to make the colours look more vibrant? Or is it acrylic paint that you use for the eyebrows and inside of her lips? Love how it turned out ! :)
