Humpty Dumpty was the Main Antagonist of the Puss In Boots MOVIE, so instead of including somebody from the Folktale, they instead took Humpty Dumpty to kill two birds with onw stones

Also, Humpty was the antagonist of one of the puss in boots movies, and the chesire cat is a background villain, you are correct. It was protagonist and antogonist.
