Tippa/Walla was an excitement machine! I'm 75 years old n seen n watched a lot of Footy n no one in my life comes near him for. Chase n tackle! Brought Dangerfield and Selwood down within 20 seconds of each other n bnecer seen anything like it in all my years of watching footy! Sometimes he was a blur across the, TV screen he'd come out of nowhere? Wish u well and All the luck in the world Tippa u deserve it, and thanks for those wonderful times u gave us!

I remember reading about him on the day of the 34's suspension. Had heard things about him but I had my doubts. He proved me wrong in his debut against Gold Coast immediately. What an amazing man to have that temperament even after all the things he has gone through. The death's of so many... would be heart breaking for such a young child. His life is an amazing story of resilience. Would be so easy to fall into temptation and just live a life of nothing. AMT chose to be better. What an amazing man. And also to his adoptive parents, they are absolute saints. How things could have been so different in their lives! A truly amazing story and an absolute Godsend to a young man! Bravo Herb.

I didn’t realise it til the other day, but turns out I was lucky enough to see his debut against the Gold Coast. It was a hard day for the club, but not many years later I saw him kick 7 against the Lions at the Gabba. An amazing career even if it was shorter than we all as fans would have liked. Enjoy retirement AMT, you deserve a happy life ❤️❤️

I first saw Walla play back in 2014 for the VFL side. Even then he had a fan club in the stands of supporters who were almost there just to watch him! Was absolutely stoked when he got the call up in 2016, even if it was in less than ideal circumstances, and then to see him really avail himself of the opportunity was tremendous. Even though he has only played six seasons in the senior side, he will go down as one of the best small forwards and most exciting players to ever play for Essendon. We're seriously going to miss him.

Walla is a rare breed of talent in a sport that's largely dominated by athletes, who possess a few traits that's barely AFL standard.
@drizzypizzman58492 жыл бұрын
Walla was a pretty good athlete
@Alby9112 жыл бұрын
@@drizzypizzman5849 Walla surpasses just being an athlete, he has football skills in its purest form. In such a small country the talent pool is not that deep; hence why so many are just 'athletes' that don't really have a natural flair for footy.

Went to a VFL game in Melbourne to see the Bomber's ressies play with the same mate and we both looked at each other and said at the same time this kid's a superstar. Many thanks to those involved for allowing us not only Bomber's Supporters but supporters of footy and life in general to watch and enjoy such remarkable achievements given Tippa's history. So glad he Donned the Red Sash. Legend.
