I would never want to be a "rock journalist," especially not in the 90s, when all the rockstar dudes were all witty and sarcastic, like Mike Patton. Rock journalist interviewers, especially back then, just came off looking like the biggest dumbasses, because a musician never wants to be cast in a bad light with a stupid question, so he always throws the awkwardness back on you.

This guy has done the minimalist bit of research and is making the language barrier look like the least awkward thing about this interview.
