My phone didn’t break but I pulled away from social media for about 3 weeks and took a deep dive in God’s presence and the HUNGER for the word😭😭😭 omg I can’t get enough. Every down time I’m either reading, watching a sermon, listening to something edifying etc. I’m back on social media now but praying to God to not be sucked back into this none stop “timeline” of social media. And truly being intentional about my walk with Christ. Also read the book of John. It’s sooo good and funny😂

Lately, I've been feeling disconnected from the Lord. I've even fallen back into worldly patterns-the type of people I surround myself with, the things I watch, the music I listen to, how I talk, and how I behave. Everything has changed. I find it harder to pray and read the Bible. I keep assuring myself that I still have time to repent and rectify myself, but through all of this, I feel like I'm dying spiritually. So, as a sister in Christ, I ask whoever sees this to please pray for me. I really am trying.

I also relate to this so so so much. I'm all of that, but with a CONSTANT alarm going off in my head; it's like 50% of me is how you described and 50% of me is constantly trying to fight against it and I describe it as "grappling with my faith" because it feels like a bar room brawl sometimes. A lot of it is my circumstances and chronic illness and severe ADHD , I know I shouldn't claim those as mine but honestly it's like spiritual warfare at this point in my life. You're not alone

If there’s anything i’m really learning the more and more I get to know our heavenly Father is Love. Learning to Love Him more than anything falling in love with Him. Ephesians 3:18 is Paul praying for us to understand how great His love is because nothing can separate us from His love, so as we draw near to Him, we love Him more and more because of what he’s done for us!

Amen!! I've been battling an ear infection in my right ear for the past week. It felt so debilitating and I cried out to the Lord. I said it in my prayers and voiced my frustration lowkey. But on the eve of this new week, thanks to the Lord and my mother, my ear is doing much better ❤❤❤ although painful I was able to be intentional with seeking God. I hope to continue because we can easily forget the Lord when everything seems fine 😅

I just want to take this moment and let you know that you’re doing a really good job Deborah. I really appreciate these messages that you’re always sharing. Funny enough, you always say exactly what I need to hear. I’ve been struggling with hearing God and the Holy Spirit for the past few months and it was all because of these distractions in my life. I’ve been giving God no attention, I’ve been finding it difficult to fast and have a moment with him. I am letting go today. Hey Deborah, I'm 16 and I've been trying to follow Jesus since I was 14, I met Him on September of 2022, and I've grown to be spiritually mature in areas but I've had period of falling back into sin, so deeply, today was a day where God called me back to Him. I've been far from God out of shame and I as a person, Isolate so badly. And my heart is so heavy in my relationship with God because I isolate and I don't know how to break free from that.

Wow that James verse keeps being amplified in my life recently! I have to take it as a sign from God. It can be so difficult cutting things out but I got rid of my Instagram and tik tok and will only use KZbin. I had to get rid of the things that distract me. This is a bit of a rant comment but this video is great encouragement ! Also I’ve been a avid reader for a five years now and just came to really follow Jesus and grow to know him last year but just recently I’ve been feeling like moving away from fiction and only reading about Him. It’s an odd feeling but I also want to go into it. Cause certain books aren’t keeping my attention like they used to and I praise God for that 🙌🏾🙏🏽

@@Angela_cher I definitely get where both of you are coming from! I struggle with this at times too but I had to realize that faith is not determinant on your feelings. Especially as women, our emotions go up and down, all around lol. Our anchor needs to be in Christ and Christ alone and Holy Spirit helps us. I'm praying for us all because I fall into this too. He never slumbers nor sleeps so He's always there. Start thanking Him for the things that have gone right. It helps. We are all in answered prayers right now, even when we don't realize it. ❤ Love you with the love of Christ!

This is an excellent episode. I strongly recommend you get a copy of the New King James Version. This is the closest to the Authorised King James Version but is easier to understand. For 30 years I have used a variety of different translations. Nowadays I just the two mentioned above.

I have also read the bible it took me two years to read it with lots of things happening in my life. Do we have to continue reading it every day of our lives? I didn't understand alot of it due to my disability I have mild intellectual and slow learning so I watched reviews of each book of the bible to help me understand... That’s correct. Not all Bibles are equal. Do a google search on what verses are left out before choosing your Bible. I truly thought I couldn’t understand the King James version so I had an Amplified and NIV. Once I did my research I got rid of the two I had and got the KJV. GOD the father will help you. Blessings

Some parts of verses are absent in the oldest copies of Scripture we have, and are present in later copies. The NIV translators decided to use the oldest copies so left out some of the parts that were added in. These added-in parts were applied to give context though and dont mean that the Bible has been changed like people say. For example one in the Gospel of John is i think the Pool of Siloam where the cripple lay. The later copies add in the context that he laid there because it was believed an angel stirred the waters.

Hey, I’m late but I just really need prayers and help. Something is so wrong with me. I miss the Lord I left him and it’s like I can’t come back. Some reason when I put God first later in the day U forget about the Lord and I don’t follow the commandments. I can’t draw closer to him and it’s just so freaking annoying and I don’t know how to know the Lord. I keep on sinning and it’s getting annoying and I’m scared for the rapture.

Have some quiet time with just you, the Lord, and the Bible...ask God to take you back to the goodness of your relationship with Him and let Him know you're willing to surrender all your life to Him. And stay away from anything that might trigger you to sin..from locations, to thoughts, to people. It isn't easy, so pray for the Spirit of holiness. Have faith that He will deliver you I will pray and stand with you. God bless you!

Whenever we read about people praying in the Bible it never mentions the enemy eavesdropping, but even if he is listening, so what? You’re a child of the most high!! The enemy will try with his schemes but the Bible says: no weapon formed against you shall prosper - Isaiah 54:17 🛡️ Satan has already lost anyways, don’t let a fear of him potentially listening keep you from praying. Prayyyy to shake the kingdom of darkness in the name of Jesus. Demons flee at the name of Jesus!
