In the Lisa fight, the demon splits into five ghosts. The fastest moving ghost is always the correct one to target. Exorcising Lisa mid-room makes it easier to compare.

im gunning for gcb and this is a really helpful resource! btw for anyone trying for it, in the clinic secret fight if you stand under the left vent at the level of the highest candle, you always kill the red eyed babies before they can transform and the fight just turns into holding the spacebar. very safe method

Thank you! I have a bunch of time to save in Chapter 3. Nights 1 (Clinic) and 2 (Hotel) have so much timesave in just movement and then using more optimal strats for the boss fights. Night 3 (School/Underground) wasn't too bad but could still save a bunch of time in the dark woods and then obviously the final fight could've been a lot faster too. 1:23:00 is theoretically possible, but that'd be perfect execution & RNG from start to finish.

@ciciinho3968 During Gary 1 where when get hit you drop the cross and Gary respawns in the centre of the room, that's intentional. It's to essentially keep Gary on an attack pattern that you can damage him during with very little risk.

old comment but if you havent figured it out, hold spacebar, enter the menu, release spacebar, and close out of it with esc. be aware that it does reset sometimes, usually after cutscenes or when a boss changes phase

Whats the reason for exorcising the puddle? I've seen people do it in other speedruns and I have not been able to find an explanation. Like if it was glitch/ending related or if it was just a way of making sure auto fire was on before Michael jumps you in the shed?

You receive a note for exorcising the puddle, and a note from exorcising the family painting in the house. The more notes you collect, the lower HP Amy has for the fight. We don't go out of our way to get more notes because it's not efficient in the slightest to get more than the 2 on the direct lines we are taking. Autofire is a bit of a mixed bag, but typically speaking resets itself as you travel between areas on the map.

When I first played through Chapter 1 I felt like Amy was super easy (I got all the notes on my first run except the one Michael drops) and then when I was replaying Flashlight and Lantern mode I felt like it was a much longer boss fight and I didint bother getting a single note. Thats really awesome thank you very much 🙏

How you use crucifix while walking?

On keyboard, press Space to bring up your crucifix, then press Escape to bring up the Pause menu, then press Escape again. So long as you continue holding the Space bar down, the Crucifix will be active.
