Faithless Insomnia is a song that was in Radio almost every day in mid 90's to 1999. Remember hearing different versions of that a lot when I used to go tech raves. Those were so insanely good even here in Finland.

SALVA MEA, INSOMNIA, REVERENCE, WE COME 1, I WANT MORE, WHAT ABOUT LOVE are dancemonsters, but they also deliver beauties like Bring my family back, Take the long way home, Postcards, Not enuff Love, Tarantula, Giving myself away and many many more

Like many here, i saw them at the Pinkpop Music Festival and as you can see from the live videos... they know how to get a crowd going and get the party started. The band/act that started this style of music for me, i saw a few years prior to Faithless, was/is "Underworld". They dont play with a band but use midi decks and basically play those as an instrument and can change at will (making songs longer, shorter or change stuff up). You should check them out as well at some point, "Born Slippy" and "Rez/Cowgirl" i highly recommend to get started with, they too know how to get a party going hehehe.

Maxi jazz unfortunately passed away last year. Faithles was groundbreaking in the 90's. God is a DJ, We come 1 and Insomia are truly epic records that changed the music industry. you should check out 'God is a DJ' at pinkpop festival '99. 70,000 people where jumping together as a single heartbeat, and caused an actual REGISTERED earthquace.
@rubiax612 жыл бұрын
This was at a time house music and every thing related already had made a name for itself down here... All through the 90's with great dj's and performers. Saw him at Pink Pop festival 1999, in the Netherlands, where I live. Now this was in xtc time, but at such a live experience you get high from the music. The beat, the changes and the build ups... Instant euphoria, can't be beaten.. 😊 I'd love to see you react to "Underworld Born Slippy Live in Berlin (Electronic Beats TV)". More or less same period, but different music style. Also a good example...
