I was lucky enough to see Faithless perform live in Ibiza many years ago and the group are responsible for so many great dance music classics, but 'Insomnia' is something really really special that will always get my hairs on the back of my neck rising when the iconic pizzicato hits. This is why there is no point in getting caught up in the technicalities of what sub genre it belongs to, it's electronic, people used to dance to it, it's under the dance type of music. There for it is the greatest dance song ever made! I used to say Born Slippy but this has aged better, it's pretty timeless.
