I was there, nearly left as I wasn't into Faithless, never really listened to the, so glad we stayed… they should have headlined that Friday as nobody could follow that! I think it was the best performance I've seen there in over 25 years going! Maxi had the whole field at it! What another huge loss! Travel well Maxi, you made history! A true legend!

I was really lucky. I worked at Radio 1 early 2000s. Faithless headlined the Big Weekend in Derry. Just me and them as they soundchecked ahead of an empty field and before the gates opened. Without doubt one of the greatest moments of my life, and later they condensed their entire output into 30 mins live. Astonishingly life-affirmingly brilliant ❤
