It is extremely rare that pieces like this come out of nowhere, they are so unbelievably good that one gets the impression that they are not from this world. Everything is just right with them: the soul, the bassline, the mix, the vocals - everything. They take you into another world, let you forget everyday life for a moment, no matter how dark it may be. These pieces have a spirit that makes that possible. And I'm thankful to be able to find such rare gems here, because compared to these dreamlike tracks, what's in the charts is absolute rubbish.... Thanks - and RIP Maxi !

After surviving a massive heart attack I have been a member of the wide-a-wake club, I found that watching music videos from my favourite bands helped me detach myself from the night terrors and dark thoughts that were keeping me awake. Headphones on volume pumped up I must have watched the Faithless Gig from Ally Pally in 2005 over a hundred times. When Maxi Jazz died for some reason I could not watch this gig anymore. You can they do reunion gigs quite often relatively speaking. And let me tell you as a person who has been lucky enough to see them live a few times it is absolutely worth it.
