Question - in one of your strategy videos I think you stipulated that only one candle should break the range before reversing; that a second candle shouldn't close beyond that.. I have seen in other videos that consective candles close beyond one another but it doesn't invalidate your trades. Which approach is valid? Thanks and keep up the good work 👍

when you are using a combination of 15 mins and 1 min, there should be only one candle that breaks the range. Also the same rule can apply to 1 hour and 5 min combination. However for 4 hour, 15 mins combination and this strategy, consecutive candles can close beyond one another.

@@faizsmcfx Hmm, in example 2 of the video, wouldn't that be the 1h and 5m type..? There are consecutive 5 minute candles breaking the range. That's where the confusion is.

@@divinasi0n if we are on the 15 mins timeframe and price breaks the 15 min structure within the range just like i showed in this video with 5 min timeframe, then you can take the trade regardless of how many candles break above the range (shouldnt go too far away from the range) but lets say we look for abc on 15 mins timeframe and look for choch on 1 min timeframe, then only one candle should break the range. The benefits of using 15 min/1hr + 1min/5min combination: You get bigger RR and early entry. Disadvantages are: you'll lose more trades due to weak choch. Hope i explained it well

@@faizsmcfx the multiple variations make it pretty confusing to be honest, but thanks for explaining anyway. 🙂 Personally I've been experimenting with using 3 min ChoCh regardless of if it's a 15m or 1h swing. I am trying to make my trading less discretionary but I haven't completely settled on anything yet.

@@realtruth1448 yes its acceptable just stick with h4 timeframe abc pattern once the h4 timeframe sweep the liquidity, you can maybe go with m15 and look for market sweep before the liquidity sweep and then find the fvg to enter a position always remember that do not be greedy just stick to the plan.

The problem will be when to shift to the newB leg and which point to choose and also when looking for Shorts become Longs and vice versa. But can study the graphs back and forth and In time it should be easier to spot it 😊

Another excellent video You can refine your entries a bit in MHO the 50% level does not really mean anything, far better to look at price structure close to the 50% fib level. I made a fair value gap indicator that automatically identifies the level, its for sale, so maybe we can do a referral basis for you. Its coded to MT4. Let me know if you are interested.

My issue with this ict is that it looks so easy in hindsight but how do you know whether that c leg is gonna be a pullback or not. U can say it breaks structure but when a high is broken and it pulls back breaking some “ internal structure” a lot of times that don’t mean it’s not gonna keep goin up. How is a pullback supposed to look then. No hate either I jus see some of these setups and they go the opposite of wat ict says.
