Thanks for sharing as soon as you flipped the coin to the obverse I immediately picked it up by the symbols not perfectly aligned properly in the center some of them are to close to the edge and rim of the coin on the libertad and just the other day I was thinking to myself that I never seen a Counterfeit libertad and here it is today you actually demestrated one great video 👍

I had a coin dealer (40-years of experience) of mine submit a Russian coin he bought to NGC and have them return it ungradable as counterfeit. I've never seen someone lose their temper like that before. He threw the coin and it went ting, ting, ting down the road into a storm grate.

if these were buried in a large sale, you could miss them easy. It only takes a few scattered in to make a lot of money.

I can see most counterfeit coins if I know what they're supposed to look like. That said I never trust my eyes alone so I bought a Sigma machine for when I'm buying bullion or expensive coins. Thanks!

I have a 2015-P PCGS Wedge Tailed Eagle and another thing is the lettering is way off, should look flatter.

I had no idea there were so many counterfeit coins out there! I just got my grades back from PCGS (I peeked at the website), and my 1908-S is listed as COUNTERFEIT! Unbelievable. Who counterfeits a penny anyway? 🤬

The only time I’ve had a coin turn out to be fake is when I’ve bought large lots of Morgan’s 10 or more and 1 will turn out to be fake Has anyone else had this happen? It’s happened to me 3 times and when it’s mixed in with a lot it’s easy for them to claim plausible deniability haha
