Meanwhile, I bought a fake Airpods pro 1st gen for 20$ a little more than 1.5 years ago and I'm impressed so far, even though I travel a lot and use it all time while traveling I've barely ever managed to kill its battery.. the sound is good enough and the hinge is really strong, however no noise cancelling ofc and the in ear detection sensor is sometimes extremely sensitive to the point where walking or slightly shaking my head would think I took them out.. but other times it's works fine and that's my only complaint about them.. I've probably won silicon lottery.

Just bought a pair of fakes recently. The sound quality is quite good and the Apple ecosystem integration is there with the widget and advanced controls in iOS. The biggest give aways for me were that they couldn’t switch connection between my iPad and iPhone properly even after they were paired by both. It forces me to go through the initial pairing process every time I want to pair it with my iPhone and then my iPad. Next give away was that my Apple Watch charger wouldn’t work with them

I have two sets of the Jenny 4.5TB on the way. Seem to be the best out there. ANC, Spatial Audio, Find My, Volume Control. etc all work with 8-10 hours of listening time. There is just not enough feedback on the fake Gen 2s and everyone in the AirReps subreddit is saying to wait a few generations until the 2nd gens get better.

I bought fake AirPods 3 and boy, after 6 months using it the battery still lasts 4hrs+ on a single charge and the case can charge them up 3 times, I see no point in buying originals just for the “spatial audio” They sound very good with deep bass and very good volume, the pinch is very sensible tho it’s like more a touch button than a pinch action
