Iqra’ in Malay is “baca”. It has the same meaning of read and recite. No issue arises from Malay translation. To literally translate into English might not have the same meaning. Anyone that’s have the confusion on the translation must refer the original Quran written in Arabic. I had a similar conversation with someone similar to this guy in the past and here’s what I concluded, when such people like this guy make a form of a covenant with shaytan they become so weak to the point where they will try to sell you anything in order to please shaytan so shaytan won’t punish them, these kind of people know what’s at stake, they know that Islam is the truth but they failed this test called life and now due to the misery of siding with shaytan they feel as if they have no other choice but to part take in provoking the righteous servants of Allah swt.
