The Wish 2T USB drive (the 3 that I bought) looks like it is actually a 16GB capacity USB. When this capacity is reached, new data starts overwriting previous ones.

I'm pretty sure these are all just 4-8gb usbs flashed to look like something else.

At least 16-32GB of data was readable. I dismantled the stick and found a model number YXT-C1807-32G so maybe 32GB

The largest legitament USB stick you can buy in Australia and all over the world is 16gb in size
@theroyalaustralian6 жыл бұрын
And the USB sticks shown in this video are only 16GB, that's the highest a USB 2.0 can go, as for file transfer a maximum of 48mbs, I have checked almost every single package I have come across and they all turn out to be and have a maximum file transfer of up to 50mbs, the sticks in this video are also 2.0

Hello! Great video! I knew at the price on Wish these seemed fishy. Do they sneak in malware (that you’re aware of?). What speed-testing application are you using? Thank you so much! Without this vid of yours I may have bought more than the 2 I have. Mine even have the official Kensington name on the back side. Even Win10 formatting showed 1.93TB. If it’s tricking windows that easily, I fear it slipping spies through the gates.

Thank you! There was no malware. Lots of counterfeit stuff on there which they must be aware of, but choose to ignore. Main thing is I got a refund, so potentially order as many as you want, claim a refund, and then you could flash the chip back to it's original capacity and use as normal.

@@HarrysHikes did you get a refund by compaining to the seller or the helpdesk in wish?
@HarrysHikes5 жыл бұрын
Sjef S I complained to wish directly via customer services and the refunded me in full including delivery and I didn’t have to send the usb stick back. Great result and customer service. However they still haven’t taken them off their site

how can I restore the real memory size etc??
@HarrysHikes24 күн бұрын
It's quite complicated and not necessarily worth it. Firstly you will need to find out the original capacity by checking the chip. Then reconfigure how the drive to reflect that exact byte size. I'm not sure how that's done, but I'm sure there's a video detailing how to do this.

My father bough a set of silvers and golds. The silvers were 32gb's but the gold ones were legit. It baffled me to see 2tb in a thumb drive.

How do you know it was legit ? What did you use to test it ?
