I know someone who's disabled, I've seen the hardships they have to endure because of a missing limb, and the many times they've put their hopes on some new technology that can help them get a taste of what it's like to be fully able.... and then these idiots waste the blessing they've been given, and purposely hurt themselves? You know what, if they really feel like their arm isn't something that want, then they should donate it. The technology is there for arm transplants, there just isn't enough dead people with good arms for it to be mainstream. So if these mentally handicapped people want to spare a limb or two, then they may as well put them to good use. Heck, I know some Vets who'd like an arm. Barring that, screw these people and their disdain for their functioning bodies.

They see other people walking and dancing and doing all of the things the loved and took for granted. One day they visit the hospital for an experimental surgery that probably isn't going to work, but they want to try because it's all they have left. While they wait for their operation another paraplegic rolls up next to them. They see his swollen legs and they know he wasn't born that way. Compassionately they ask, "How did it happen?" I know this response comes 2 years late, but I revisited this video just and lemme tell ya. I’m paraplegic from Th5-th6 vertebrae (around nipple level) from a accident back in 2006. (I were 13 back then) My whole life circled around sports and I lost literally everything dear to me. After like week or two from the accident and over 10hrs long surgery I were watching from the hospital window how people walked at the streets and thought how most of ’em will be whining how horrible their lives are from a mundane shit. That whole ordeal really puts some perspective into ones head and you have to just deal with it. I gotta live rest of my life in a wheelchair. The whole point of this comment is to say that you did hit the nail with this comment. 100% accuracy there! And lemme tell ya, if someone came next to me and explained his or her ”transabelism” or whatever the fuck, I’d make him/her extremely disabled from the spot. That person wouldn’t have the disability that he/she wanted, that person would be either dead or in the feeling tubes rest of their life. I wouldn’t care at all if I got a life sentence for that. It is a fucking horrible ordeal to go trough and if someone has an audacity to come at me with this fake disability shit I’d make sure that person would hope being back broke in a hell instead near me. I studied Psych for a lot of years in college. That's an actual mental disorder. Similar to the phantom pain almost (popularized by MGSV since you guys kinda know what that is) it's where someone feels as though they shouldn't be able to use certain things so they try not to or hurt themselves. Sometimes it happens through a strange guilty feeling as well. Those kinds of people really do sometimes break their legs purposely or just stop using certain body parts until it atrophies into a useless limb. Crazy disorder to learn about. Transabled is something someone made up to create some stupid headlines in my opinion.
