I think what makes people like freckles so much, is that it makes an illusion that you're not wearing any makeup (well, skin makeup, not eyes). So, it somewhat makes you look more natural and blemish-free.

I don’t get why girls with freckles complain when other people want them. They’re embracing us because they think they’re beautiful! The fake ones can look really horrible and silly though. 😂😂 So this girl did a good job.
