Strawberry bonsai is most likely just a bad Google translation. The characters for bonsai (盆栽), or penzai as it's pronounced in Chinese, literally means "plant in a pot" when translated from Chinese to English and can be applied to any plant in a pot. So they're saying that you can plant the strawberry plants that you germinate from their seeds in pots, which is true enough. If the Chinese speak of the actual art of bonsai, i.e. idealistically miniaturized trees and landscapes, they use the word penjing (盆景) instead.

lol! exception: 5 color Chinese peppers. Every pepper goes through 5 distinct colors, most of them super-bright, as they mature. That's the only legit example I know.

Porcelain Berry vine has multiple colored berries on same vine. Unfortunately they are highly invasive and prohibited in many areas.

Best thing do to is buy from a reputable garden store. They will not do you wrong because their reputation is on the line. Don't buy seeds from overseas.
