Your video about the fake cake started my enthusiasm to make one as well! Sadly we don't have lightweight spackling, so I thought of using lightweight air dry clay and it works great for making fake cakes as well.

I was planning on doing cupcakes and ice cream cone ornaments for my Candyland / Gingerbread themed tree in my kitchen but in my area the large bucket of light weight spackle is just not available, bummer, maybe next year! I’m new to fake food even though I made a large cupcake cake 8 years ago for our granddaughters yearly cake photo shoot. You’ve opened up a whole new world for me!
