Yes you can use card as for cash take 50/50 lira/sterling as most prefer sterling... they get a better exchange rate and most restaurants will give you lira for it

I loved Bodrum and Bitez first visited there in 1987 to 1989 went back there 5 times. Turkey is beautiful. Twice last year in Istanbul.

I lived in Bodrum for 14 yrs , still go every year ... You need to learn to talk Turkish and really know the people... 😂😂 forget fake designer hats !!! You just walked past an ancient building that is being reconditioned !!! Do your homework, forget fake hats !!! All the best!!

I would take T lira for the bars and restaurants and taxi fair, sterling for shops and euros if you plan to goto Kos.

Walk to the mosque at the corner of the marina, you will see the mosque in front and the blue bodrum sign to the left walk beyond the mosque and there is a square, walk across to the other side to the right is where it begins
