My dad was a pastor (Scandanavian heritage) and every Christmas morning (6am)our family put on a candle light service in church with music and readings, followed by serving breakfast to the church. It was called a Julotta service. Thanks for sharing your tree farm dream!

My grandmother had a tradition of having an afternoon tea. We would all dress up in old fancy clothes and pull out our tea sets we got for Christmas. She always made Christmas cookies to have with our hot tea.

Joy that is incredibly special! I’ve inherited some fancy tea cups and I might have to do something like that with the girls one day. Thanks for sharing!

Those were beautiful pictures that you took! I love the nature feeling of family’s in a forest, I don’t know if you get snow there but if you do and a couple had their wedding pictures taken there I thought it would look awesome if you had a very large red blanket on the snow surrounded by the snow covered trees and at least one picture of the bride sitting on the blanket with her beautiful wedding gown nicely spread out around her would look so priceless! I just love that area you set up with the trees, the possibilities are endless, great job! 🙏🏻💕🎄🌲

We only get significant snow once or twice a year. Sometimes not at all. But it is so beautiful when it happens! It’s like a blanket of peace. It’s pretty special since it doesn’t happen often. Thanks Jean for seeing my artistic vision with me! Happy Thanksgiving!

We always have a day set aside to make and decorate Christmas cookies. Even the men join in. Our kids and grandkids are grown now but we still love doing cookies. We share the cookies with our neighbors. 🥰 We also go to church on Christmas Eve. One of our favorite things.

Judy do you have a special cookie dough recipe? We need one for cookies to decorate. What a fun and yummy activity to do together! We too go to a candlelight service Christmas Eve. I’ve never been so nervous than when we were outnumbered with toddlers holding lit candles!

@@theflowermeadowupick I use the easy sugar cookie recipe at Fabulosity on Pinterest. The cookies keep their shape very well. I also add a little almond extract. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It’s such a fun tradition. Really enjoy your channel and love that you share your faith. 🥰

I spend my Xmas day going to Church and reading the Bible. We give that day greeting the birth of Jesus Christ we have our birthday cake in the shape of a Bible. Wishing Jesus Christ a happy birthday. And giving the best gift we can give , our sole to Jesus Christ.

I love that Michael! A cake the shape of the Bible is impressive! We read the Bible story before we open presents! My mom even has a felt board of characters that the kids put on when they get to that part of the story. We’ve added a birthday cake the past few years too.
