I find that eco styler gel doesn't really work for me either unless I tie my hair up and let it set. I usually use the wet line extreme clear gel, you should give that gel a try!

TwinGodesses Wet line gel works great for my wash and go's but that doesn't slick my hair down either. Most edge controls also have a hard time holding. Lol I'm not sure what the hell my hair is made of but I guess it just wants to be free.

tyerra1213 I have the exact same problem! Even when I tie a scarf on it to set it, there are fly always galore! My hair is just so super curly, like mini springs, that it is even resistant to relaxers. I don't relax it anymore though, so it's even more of a challenge. I'm still looking for my miracle hair slicking gel! LOL. I'll look into the gel you mentioned for wash and go's too, because the Eco Styler doesn't work for that either.😕

thank God I found this, this is just beautiful. your beautiful and also I know who has my hair type. now I must finish watching this video. and another thing I have gone about 6 years without a relaxer and haven't been putting harmful heat or chemicals to my hair. so I found out that my hair was just dry all the time even after I applied a mix of water and creams to my hair. and oils help but not a lot. so im thinking maybe I need to take oil in my purse and use it throughout the day. And I haven't put gel in my hair since 2 years ago and now I see u have applied the gel and love the waves it created because of your hair texture. i have many coils in the middle of my head and i have always grew a full head of hair but soaks up everything i try. glad i found the video and thank you!

I like the two pony tails because my big chop was tapered and my fro is shorter in the back than the front, I could get my hair all in a low pony tail in the back but if I go higher or high top then all my hair mostly fits but some way in the back bottom of my nape area comes out some.
