The best way to eat salted egg is mashing it with tomatoes with a spoonful of water on warm rice.Adding a bit of onion is good but optional. The best salted egg is when cracked open,a reddish/golden oil is dripping from the egg.

The pink eggs that you saw are actually duck eggs placed in mud with salt and left there for I don't know how long, but until the eggs has already absorbed the salt, washed and then cooked hard boiled. The pink color is simply for identification. While the sweet treat that you have just tried is a sticky white corn called the binatog, that can be eaten as a snack, a dessert or even for breakfast. It is also one of my favorites. 🙂

You're being disrespectful and entitled thinking you can just go to any country and call anything any name you want! You are abusing the fact that most of us are too meek and polite to call you out, huh ?
