there is a lot of synthetic malachite out too, it looks like fruit stripe gum! i like sellers who declare plated or dyed stones. i feel comfortable knowing their other items are natural crystals. love your video, thanks for sharing the knowledge.

Something i also noticed about real ones is that if you hold them for a bit above fire from a candle for example not too close and you see they're warm the exact moment you remove them they become freezing cold not just cold freezing cold the exact moment you remove them

Another important tip is that Genuine Malachite will almost certainly be chipped or have some kind of defect in it as it is very brittle. So if your beads are perfect and you got them for cheap, odds are they are glass. Additionally real malachite will feel cold to the touch.
@KarenHuiCrystals3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing, but I have not seen fake malachite in glass beads, all plastic.

I recently bought a malachite bracelet and to be honest i don’t have any idea if that bracelet is real or fake, but based on your video, i’m more than 50% sure that the one that I bought is indeed a real one, doesn’t have white parts, not too bright, and the bracelet is heavier than some of my “beaded” bracelets. 💚 thank you for this information!

Check it for defects. Real malachite will almost certainly have some as it is very fragile and will tend to chip/break when being machined.

You can also distinguish the fake malachite by a brighter colour. Real malachite is a bit more blue-ish/gray-ish, like conifer needles. Not so vibrant as the fake one. And in case of plastic fakes you can also try a fire test.

Thanks for useful video. Real Malachite on the left. The one on the right is fake because l have an exact one from amazon and luckily the seller was honest enough to specify that it is artificial stone, in fact it is a bit lighter in weight and not so cold to the Touch like Real stones. It is green and Black while real Malachite is dark green and light green. Hug from Germany.

Hi Karen, I am now 1 of your many subscribers. I am happy to see your youtube channel because lately I became a crystal stone lover because of the possible benefits we get from the crystals. My birth stone is emerald but I also want to wear clear quartz, citrine, aquamarine, red jasper, red garnet and rainbow obsidian. I also have the 7 chakra. Is it ok to wear them all everyday and how do I cleanse and recharge the crystal stone energy? Your answer/tips about the crystals would be a great help. Thank you for taking time to read my message
@KarenHuiCrystals3 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching my videos. How many crystals bracelets you wear everyday depends on how you get along with all these crystals. Cuz crystals have much higher frequency than human body, some people wear too many crystals they will get dizzy. So you can try two or three first.

I have a clear quartz bracelet ... it does feel cold ... however, when wearing it - it doesn't seem to take too long before it starts to feel warm .... is this normal for genuine quartz? Also, a warning ... ppl please be extremely careful to not purchase glass bracelets ... these could be really dangerous if you fall and they break due to a risk of cutting the veins in your wrist !!!
