I submitted my first consignment to Goldin Auction. They literally stole my cards. The cards I submitted were in the $3000.00 to $6000.00 rage, even according to Goldin own paperwork for both cards. I knew approximately the rage of the cards I submitted. One card was a 2017 Optic fastbreak black # 46 Maxi Kelber rookie 1of1 Grade 9 auto 10, and the other was 2013 Leaf Shaquille O'Neal Face of the game blue holo Grade 8.5 Auto # 11/ 25. The reason I say they stole my cards. My auction ended sooner than any other auction entered on the same day. They realize both cards for less than $400.00. The person I spoke with before consigning my cards was Steve Lucas. I told him I usually sell to my local cards shop. I never use auction. He knew it was my first time consigning. Because I told him it was.

So sorry to hear that my friend. I have a similar story. I bought THE Jalen Brunson 1/1 gold vinyl Don Russ Optic Rated Rookie Auto raw on Ebay like 2 years ago for $5k. I said to myself, before Brunson pops off and becomes the face of NY, I want to snag one of his best cards. Said and done. I received the card and sent it in for grading. Got the card cleaned and prepped perfectly. It graded a PSA 9. A wonderful grade for such an epic 1/1 rookie Brunson. I said to myself that this card will hands down AT LEAST resell for $10k and I will walk away a happy man. We'll. I couldn't have been more wrong. It sold for $4.3k on Goldin! After Goldins commission I basically netted $3.8k! Throw in what I paid for grading and I basically lost $1.5k. I swear that if I would have just held onto it myself and flipped it at a show or on Ebay, I would have made A LOT of money. Lesson well learned. Never consign on Goldin unless you are friends with Ken.

I should have followed my gut. I wasn't feeling comfortable with my decision to consign with Goldin Auction. I usually sell to my local card shop. I'll never consign any of my collection to Goldin Auction again. My Maxi Kelber rookie 1 of 1 should have been in the rage of at least $6000.00 - $10,000. The Maverick are in the NBA finals. I thought it would be a good time to sell.

Nat Turner did that to me too!!! 💯 I had 6x SGC 10 and BGS 9.5s - 12x total cards (Football Brady, Mahomes, Allen & Burrow) - he gave them ALL PSA 10s. Went to the Secret backdoor entrance, he talked to the Graders and worked his Natty Turner Magic!!!

The Roth Cards content is so redundant I'm surprised as well the sub count would suddenly spike especially when it's the same strategy he does at every card show. buy NFL QB or NBA star Flawless cards and flips them within an hour at a table across the room. Surprised card show dealers still do business w/ him knowing he's just likely taking from their profit margins.
