My cousin in law really knows about shoes as he used to own an athletic store in Vietnam before it closed down. Him and my cousin sold no fake items. Some people were suspicious of the prices. What he did was just go the real Nike, Adidas, etc store and bought tons of items that were either on sale or clearance to resell. Quality didn’t always matter to him as more focused on the real product. Some small stores do sell the real thing but often what they buy to sell was bought a clearance price. Thanks for sharing this video.

If you want to buy fake shoes, you should visit Lý Chính Thắng street in District 3 or at the market (not in district 1). In District 1, even if it's fake shoes, the price is still expensive, maybe because they are located in the district 1. Young people in Vietnam will often buy shoes at the mall because they think the quality will be better even though sometimes even at the store it is still mixed with low quality. I usually buy at Takashimaya. I know it will cost more. But in terms of quality, I find it better than the store. In my opinion, some people in Vietnam dont have enough money to buy a good pair of shoes to wear, some pairs have less than 500k . So sometimes they will save money so they can buy good shoes or wait for a sale. anyway I really like your video content, will support your next videos

That was a lot of really good information. I usually buy my shoes at the mall. the last pair of shoes I bought was at Crescent mall and it was a pair of sketchers and it cost near 2 million, but it's been almost 2 years now and I'm still wearing them so I think it was a good deal. Thank you very much for sharing all this with me I appreciate the comment and I appreciate you watching

Not many night markets left after covid. The one in D5 survived, big clothing market that lasts for several blocks. The street I was on is day time only, it probably is closed by 8pm, possibly 6pm.

That's really strange. I wear US 10 (Nike) or 9.5 (Adidas, New Balance, etc.), and I never had any problems buying shoes back when I grew up in Vietnam. I'd say US 9 is average size there. Most of my friends (back there) wore between US 8.5 and US 9.5.

I think what happened when a lot of the foreigners left the factories just didn't see the point in making shoes above size 9. I think that will changing soon. Thanks you for this comment, I love it when people share their experiences with me.

I see those pointed shoes everywhere, and to me they looked quite silly. Many of the shoes made in factories here can be high quality, just need to pay attention to the stitching.
