Mi logo inside the USB port is a good one... I would never have looked in there to check. And no counterfeiter will go to that extreme when generic USB sockets are heaps cheaper than custom ones.

Best way , divide the capacity by 5 , multiply by 3.7 . You will get your approx capacity at 5V which it will output now charge devices powered off and see if the numbers match up even if not perfect . Eg : 20A power bank will be around 16A in real life application if you can charge 0% 7 2A devices it is good if it dies after 2 or 3 it's a bad or fake

One important way is to look for the battery cell quality and mAh rating. Fake ones are generally 5 or 6p (p means parallel) 18650 li ion cell packs. Each cell has 1000 to 2200 mAh capacity. And have poor packaging but as you showed there is a 1 piece cell in original ones.

I am from Bangladesh. I know that I will get the Chinese Version of the Power bank. But learning from this video, this was quite helpful. Even the Chinese version has the MI logo inside the USB port. But a bit small MI logo inside the USB port compared to the Indian version which l already have. The BIS logo have it on the Indian version . But after trying on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, the fast charging texts always appear on my lock screen. I am so grateful to have it.
