I believe ANIMAL meant a man who got pushed by life and circumstances to become this completely unhinged being. He tried to protect his pack(family) violently whenever it was needed. He stopped listening to and obeying his elder generation when they became old and weak. He was freely roaming in his territory without any clothes or shaving his pubes. He followed the act of mating with more than 1 partner as most of the animal species do. Had a final battle with another ANIMAL from his own bloodline who threatened to steal his territory, and ended it by following the rule of the jungle. And at the end became a part of a never ending game in the jungle which had new ANIMALS ready to fight and replace him. This movie couldn't have had a better title.

Animal consists of a story which includes a protagonist whose affection and love for his father grows and remains so deep and so toxic that it started to affect the other feeble and healthy relationship he had with his other family members . His love for his father was of such extent that he didnt even think twice while having an affair with the enemy spy fully knowing her identity just to extract information out of her without having or giving it a second thought to his wife and children .Honestly for me the first half of the movie I was putting the character of ranveer kapoor on a pedestal aand high horse questioning about the opinions women were having after watching the movie but after second half that pedestal thing dropped for me instantaneously but the story grew more intricated and complex similarly so that way the second half was way better .and the animal significance was also true that hero ranveer was a calculated warrior who for some moment unhinged himself time to time for fulfilling his motives whereas as villian ranveer is a pure animal and menace who wouldnt think twice about doing things to vijays loved ones which the hero cannt even fathom as he is the new apex predator around there and in animal park we will get to see th3 tussel of the old king fighting the new challenger over the throne with more hunger and madness than him with more ferocity and tenacity than him . Salute to vanga to give bollywood a cinema which it hadnt received in its entire life time till now
