So its actually not fully a knockoff so these are from a Chinese company that actually does stuff with amazing Yamaguchi in china. So they can have Identical molds and some of the same plastics but the quality control is bad. They basically are repoducing them for way cheaper and again quality control is not great. The boxes are also the same ones they use when distributing

Why have I only gotten perfect figures from Temu? Then again im not buying figurines, I am buying those blind boxes. They are honestly so high quality, have transparent areas on some of them, solid different textures done accurately, no shotty paint jobs, etc. they are quite hefty for their sizes too which is nice. Im specifically thinking of these cute themed bear things that look kinda psychedelic at times.

@@joshmiles7727 nope, I am a very great artist who loves focusing on details on stuff, I am very nitpicky. Anime figures I've seen from there are wonky, but specifically blind boxes are the things that look and feel fantastic. The quality is comparable to the 30$ figures sold by Glitch for The Amazing Digital Circus, but they feel solid and not hollow. (I got an official figure of Pomni, she is rather light but sturdy.) These things I'm talking about I don't even know what characters they are, just cute monster bear things with test tubes, flowers, etc. the blind boxes are themed. The only thing is they don't come with a box, but come with the figure and figure card. I've also gotten UV resin, UV putty and such that work very well. I think it just depends on what it is, they even sell Buldak ramen on there, the official stuff. Iven ordered lots of ko recoltech figs over the years either for repaints or spare parts and i fotta say this is literally the first time ive ever seen one come in the box lol.
