Seems like the one big thing the fakes cant seem to get right is the lettering, too thick and bold. But easiest way to avoid fakes is still buying from authorized dealers. 10-20€ isnt worth buying potentially fake crap, with possibly highly toxic chemicals.

I have concerns about a bottle I just bought potentially being fake. Everything seems to line up with your video other than the magnet being a bit weak. I can pick it up and move it around, but if I give a good shake it will fall off. Lastly the engraved number, when I took something sharp I was able to scratch the blue coating off the glass, the serial number is more faint now but I can see that it was etched into the glass, but still concerning. Additionally, I can’t tell if I’m going nose blind but when I got a sample from a store, I remember the dry down turning into this nice powdery note, with this bottle I am not getting that.

This helped me out immensely after a recent purchase. I had a bottle purchased from an authorized retailer and was looking to replace it. Thankfully, I kept the old packaging (including wrapper) and didn't even need to go beyond the first few minutes before I could tell the recent purchase (not from an authorized retailer) was fake. On the wrapper part, if you kept yours, the fold on the bottom has two "glue" spots holding it closed, while Chanel would never let that slide through. Cheers and you've got a new subscriber!
