Boyfriend wasn’t sure what stood before him. It reminisced of a familiar face, but yet was so unfamiliar. It already had a microphone in hand as Boyfriend looked up at the creature, presumably ‘Knuckles’, giving him a nod of approval as they began to rap. But then.. it happened. He faded into the darkness as if he was never there, before horrible ripping sounds were heard. As if skin was being ripped. The laughing, it was all too familiar, and what came out of the darkness stood a horrifying creature, tall without any eyes, still faintly looking like Knuckles as if to laugh at him for falling for such a disguise. It was time to own up. Maybe he had screwed up.

The Wechidna designs look quite good, though the first phase sprites appear a bit too jolly in comparison to the rather depressed melody, in my opinion. Nonetheless, Liu did a fantastic job! The chart is alright, even though there are errors here and there, its generally done to an adequate standard. Overall, I think its a pretty solid presentation of the leaked track!

As a charter that is fairly experienced. The chart isnt bad at all! I would improve pitch relevancy and jump placement but that's just me. The sprites as well are just pure quality. Especially the subtle hints that he isnt the really knuckles.

Fun fact: the character of wechidna is actually from knuckles chaotix (or chaotix featuring knuckles as it’s known in Japan), where wechinda is the fan name for the character in the debug menu labeled ********** (yes that’s what it’s called), and that character is comprised of knuckles’ sprite with an incorrect colour palette giving him white fur (skin? Spikes? The parts of him that are normally red are white) and red skin, hence the name wechinda (white echidna). The character is actually just tails, complete with flight. And for anyone who has played the game this isn’t charmy bee flight, this is classic tails flying complete with tiring out and all. It actually comes from when the game used to be called ‘sonic crackers’ and was the same general game just with tails and sonic instead of knuckles and the chaotix (knuckles isn’t part of the chaotix they’re their own group. Mighty isn’t even really part of them either and I think the two robots were made solely for that game). So yeah, wechidna isn’t some sonic creepypasta it’s a chunk of leftover code in knuckles chaotix from an older version of the game called ‘sonic crackers’ which featured sonic and tails (btw the reason mighty is character 1 in the debug menu and not someone like knuckles is because sonic would’ve been character 1, tails is character 2, and the rest were added later, so what they did was just recolour Sonic’s sprites to be mighty, which is probably why he’s there to begin with) which actually crashes the game unless you used something like a GameShark.
