At 31:00 Faker cancels the Sylas W with his R. This reaction time is insane. Surely intentional, since he spaced so he can clearly see the animation and dash to have time to press R. Fucking incredible. And as someone who played Sylas since release I can tell there is nothing more unfortunate or annoying when your W does not connect. I have not seen anyone dodging it this well, even by mistake.
@Walerud2 жыл бұрын
There are literally 4 abilities in league of legends, it's not too hard too hard to run a scenario of the fight in your head before you go trying to plan how you can outplay. If you are ready for his w with ur ult all u need to do is tap when u see the animation. I don't know, I don't find this hard, and if you cannot do stuff like this, league just isn't for you.

edit: mechanical stuff is the biggest part of the comment, emotional stuff at the end, enjoy 🙈😂 really nice vid, however some mechanical stuff (about which i might be an extreme nerd) is not quite right, especialy when it comes to your understanding of the zed ult (of which i might have abou 0.9 mil mastery 😅) and i have seen you get this one wrong a couple of times now, soooo i figgured i may take out some time and explain in detail :) untargetability vs invincibility so first things first, the zed ult makes you untargetable (like in fizz e), not invincible (like kayle r), so it doesn't work like for example zhonyas which does both. you still get dmg from debuffs, that were already on you before. so you can still die from red buff, ignite, scorch, liandris, poison dot from cassio q or teemo e passive, or even the own zed r stolen by sylas, once it is aplied at least. next point: application: the damaging part of the zed ult comes from a debuff on the enemy, which is applied at the exact time when zed comes out of his untargetability. this application of the debuff can be dodged tho, by going untargetable yourself (for example as fizz with e, that is why you see fizz mains use the e instantly right the moment before zed pops out of his r). this is why zhonyas can be used in two ways actually to negate the zed ult damage and is, at least in my mind, why so many people get it wrong: you can either use the zhonyas instantly before zed comes out of his r, this will cause the zed r debuff to never be applied to you, or you use it before the zed r debuff expires and the damage would come through, in which case you make use of the invincability tho, not the untargetability. example: if a fizz has his e on cooldown as he gets ulted by zed but uses it later while the damage from zed ult comes through, he still gets damaged by it. last case: sylas vs zed (or zed r vs zed r for that matter) sooo as long as it is a pure 1 vs 1, there is actually no possibility to dodge the zed ult for either player, since while your enemy casts the ult, you can not cast it yourself since your enemy is... well, not there. he is casting the zed ult. and if you try to dodge the damage part of the zed ult with your zed ult, well you are a fool because you will still be damaged by it :) HOWEVER as soon as we are not in a pure 1 vs 1, lets say there is a target dummy you can use next to your enemy, he casts ult on you, you can then dodge the zed r by using your own zed r on the target dummy, because, as already explained above, you are untargetable and dodge the APLICATION of the debuff. this is why the zed sylas matchup is so interesting actually. it can actually be an advantage for the zed or sylas to have the enemies teams jungle arround, just so you have someone to ult 😁 as long as it is a pure 1 vs 1 and we assume inflated damage numbers, i would say the matchup is zed favoured, since if sylas goes in with r first, zed can place the w out and just switch away the ms sylas comes out of his zed r and thus not much happens. if zed initiates with his r and has his w positioned behind minions, he can instantly switch to his w after coming out of his r to avoid sylas e2 and then continue/complete his all in with qs, provlers claw, flash, whatever. i truely hoped this helps, it actually took me quite a while to write 🙈 have a wonderful day, your vids often help me a lot through hard times and my sadly pretty severe mental problems. keep up the great work, i truely appreciate it. dadbeast truely helps me out a lot, i guess that makes me a sonbeasts then 🤔😂 have a great day 😁😊 edit nr 2: god DAMN it feels so satisfying that there is at least one thing in league of legends i am probably better at than faker when i look at how he plays some all ins 🙈
@ramonorellana98163 жыл бұрын
Midbeast, in the sylas-zed matchup zed always have to ult first. If zed ults first and hold his W, zed can land a triple Q on sylas (when sylas ults) cause he will always appear behind zed, so he can be ready for that. Look laceration or zed99 the way they play that matchup, whoever ults first wins it

Top 5 mids in no particular order: showmaker, chovy, faker, doinb, knight
@seenpools90963 жыл бұрын
I think currently, 6 midlands can challenge for best Chovy, Showmaker, Faker, DoinB, knight, caps. Jensen, rookie, icon, creme, humanoid and Larsen are good but not there. I think in terms of dominating laining it is Chovy, no doubt. Caps in second I think if you wanted a team player, it is Faker, DoinB in second In terms of success, especially recently, looking over showmaker is hard I think that then puts knight in 6th, he doesn't have too much going for him specifically against the others. Great player tho I would then put doinB 5th with Caps and faker 4th and 3rd. Chovy in 1st with showmaker 2nd.

Definitely a bit of inflation and deflation. Both in terms of meta and generally which champs favour which. But the newer playerbase definitely plays worse than the older ones when they started. Partly because there's so much stuff to learn. Back then it's just "stand behind minions to avoid poke and skillshots" but now we have skillshots that go through minions and skillshots that PUNISH you for standing behind minions. Also back then it's "this item grants x stat" now it's "this item gives x stat relative to how much your y base stat is, which is also affected by champion level"

38:55 the problem is when the toxicity is coming from rioters or the game designers. You can't always prove it, but given the context of some arguments, and previous evidence of sock-puppet accounts, it can be hard to deny. I've had to quit a game before because of toxicity from the game designers of a very tiny indie company. ATM when it comes to Riot, I can only find solace in the fact that one or a few Rioters doesn't represent the entire game. it's no longer a small indie company right.
